- Prepare 6 cups hot water
Instructions to make Achari Chana Pulao:
- First of all take a large pot add oil in it now add all whole spices (taiz pat,sabit zeera,sonf,laung,Hari elaichi, Bari elaichi,badyan Ka bhool,darcheeni).fry it Little bit.so that oil will absorb aroma of all spices.
- Now add sliced onion and fry it untill golden brown.than add ginger garlic paste.bhoonify it.than👇
- Add sliced tomatoes in it.mix it untill tomatoes become soft.
- Now add spices (red chilli powder,haldi powder,dhania powder,zeera powder,sonf powder,kalonji powder,mustard seeds or Rai dana,methi Dana,and salt)and mix it.
- Now add 1/2 cup yogurt bhonify it for 2 minutes.
- Now add 1 cup boiled chickpeas.
- Now add soaked rice with green chillies.
- Mix it and add 6 cups of hot water in it and cover it to cook.
- After 10 minutes rice will be done.simmer(dum) it for more 4-5 minutes.
